Work Experience

Head of Marketing for Papa John's Franchise- (August 2020-Present)

  • I control the social media for Papa Johns covering four locations in North Mississippi. I work closely with MSU campus, residential areas, and local businesses to market various promotions we have at the time. I run a social media drawing for free pizza, resident nights at various apartment complexes, and run promotional events on campus.

 

Server and Bartender at Georgia Blue- (August 2021-Present)

  • This position requires you to be extremely knowledgeable of mixology, customer service, serving within the bars section, cleanliness, menu items ingredients, use of POS and how each menu item is made. I not only run the bar but serve a section of 6 tables, answer the phone for togo orders, answer any other questions customers may call about and make all of the drinks for the rest of the restaurant.

 

Hooter’s Bartender- (May 2021-August 2021)

  • Besides running the shop, I created weekly events to bring in more customers such as live music Mondays where I hired an artist to play live in the shop, student night, theme Thursday, etc. Social media was used to post new flavors, share about events, and to share pictures of customers' experiences.

 

 

Leadership/Community Service

ACCESS Peer Mentor- (Spring 2020-Current)

  • I encourage my ACCESS students to push themselves to participate in various social activities, the goal is to improve their social skills and promote a positive experience at Mississippi State.

 

New Maroon Camp Counselor- (Fall 2018-Fall 2019)

  • Our goal as a counselor during the week before classes start is to help freshman and transfer students adjust to the University. This position includes a year of seminars and activities regarding customer service, emergency procedures, diversity and inclusion, positive energy, and organizational skills. We were accountable for 15-20 students on a daily basis.

 

Day One Leadership Program- (Fall 2018)

  • A leadership based course that assigned us to a community partner to help us learn how to communicate effectively, grow our leadership skills, and learn how to create a community service project while staying within a budget.
